Explosive WRs in good spots Week 4
Circling the deep-threat wide receivers that draw the defenses letting up the most chunk passing plays.
Earlier this week in our secondaries to target article, we brought in some of the more important metrics I like to study: how many 20+ yard passes a defense is allowing, and the average yards per pass attempt each team is seeing against them. That was the foundation for circling the position groups and players that seem to be in good spots this weekend for receiving props, but today’s piece is more niche.
There are going to be some repeat names here, but what I’m focused on is finding the player with the most defined deep-threat role on his team. This piece can either be an aid for some long reception props, or add fuel to the fire for picking their receiving yardage over.
Let’s dive in.
2023 metrics
I will once again say it. You can’t find these 20+ yard passes allowed numbers anywhere else!! I dare you to find them offered anywhere. I’m manually tracking this, and it’s a time-consuming process. I would very much appreciate if you support my work if you’re putting this to use by signing up for a paid subscription. You signing up helps keep this content flowing as my workload piles up. For those that have already joined, I am beyond appreciative of you!
There are eight defenses I see that I want to consider betting against, and off of that, there’s at least eight WRs we should have our eyes on this weekend in the NFL.
